Understanding your Insurance Benefits...

Dr. Long is an IN-NETWORK Provider for Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Motion Picture, SAG, and Producers and Directors Guild Insurances. We are also In Network for some HMO Subsidiaries under Kaiser and Healthnet, called American Specialty Health Plan.

Being an In-Network provider is advantageous to our patients due to lower deductibles and co-pays. The Dr. has a contractual agreement with the insurance companies for a set fee schedule. Some insurances even cover Massage Therapy! We will immediately authorize your insurance and let you know what is covered and how many visits you have for the year.

We also would like you to know that you do not need a prescription to be seen by a Chiropractor. Unlike a Physical Therapist, Chiropractors are Primary care Physicians.

Since we are in Network... the minimum visits allowed of all the listed Insurances above are 12 per year. Most fall within 20-60 visits per year! It is not unusual to see unlimited visits either.

A co-pay is due at the time of service. Until your deductible is met, we also collect a minimum fee at the time of service as well, which is then applied to your insurance company.
